Do you wear an NHS hearing aid?
A FREE drop in retubing clinic and replacement battery service is available throughout Tayside with drop in clinics being held at locations in Dundee, Angus and Perth and Kinross.
Volunteers trained by the Audiology Department can supply and fit new batteries, and retube non dome or slim tube hearing aids. Unfortunately volunteers are unable to retube open fit aids (thin wire with tip in ear).
Some of the Action of Hearing Loss Volunteers are continuing to support this service.
Please note, the client’s yellow book must be provided to receive batteries.
