Arbroath Medical Centre ask all patients with coronavirus related concerns OR a new cough, fever or shortness of breath to consult for advice. The Medical Centre is open but due to the Coronavirus access is restricted. You will be seen in the Practice once you have had a telephone consultation with either the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner or you have a pre-booked appointment and are currently without symptoms i.e no cough or fever. If you have Coronavirus related symptoms but are well and managing, please self isolate for seven days in line with national guidance details, of which can be found via NHS Inform Website, NHS 111 or for free via the helpline that has been set up for those who do not have symptoms but are looking for general health advice call 0800 028 2816. If you require a sick note due to coronavirus, you will be able to get this from the NHSInform website. If you are unwell please phone the Practice first. Do not enter the building. All appointments are being allocated on the day and will not be bookable in advance. We can assure you the practice is still open and fully staffed, but we need to keep the waiting area as safe as possible for all patients

Vitamin B12 Injections

In an effort to protect patients during the current COVID-19 outbreak, a decision has been made to postpone Vitamin B12 injections. There is strong evidence to suggest that the B12 injection will last far longer than the current 3 month interval. We are, however, looking at individual cases and seeking specialist advice for certain conditions, and will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves
